Assuredly Yours

This worship song suddenly came to mind which it is my favourite when sing in the Church and I try to look for the song in the web. Then I found it here.

All that I am is in You

All that I seek is to follow You
I run to Your side when You call
There is the hope I am longing for

Just to be by your side
There is hope in my life
There is no greater freedom I’ve found

Take my life
And all that I have to give
Take my world
Just inhabit all of it
Take my dreams
Make me assuredly Yours

Why commit suicide?

Apparently, committing suicide is extremely silly thing to do. In this world there are many beautiful things awaiting us to experience and explore. We have family, friends and loves one whom we care and love. Why such an act could simply destroy the life when God has made us perfectly or even some imperfect just like those people I posted earlier, without arms and legs? They got nothing yet they love and survive what they are. I believe there is always a way to overcome if we are struggling in our life. There are many obstacles in life as we goes on and it is the process of learning. Do not try to waste our precious gifted life just like that...

Yesterday I attended my friend's brother funeral in Nilai Memorial Centre, Cheras after receiving the bad news. I was really shocked when hearing his brother jumped off from 10th floor of her apartment. The cause of the death is still unknown but she believed that her brother’s death was due to depression over his study on pursuing his upper six. It is very pathetic to know at his very young age has just gone. Although I’m not that close to her brother but I know how grieved she had losing him.

By knowing this, it made me think that life is so precious and we should not take advantage by destroying it, think of those loves one who loves us and most important to remember Jesus loves us as He loves his Father. Let the God takes charge on us but let not by own selves.

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LZ8

I just bought this camera yesterday at RM399 (USD 110), free with 2GB SD card and a case. This model is a latest range from Panasonic which use LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR Lens and iA (intelligent Auto) mode. I'm currently using Nikon 3.2 Megapixel with the small LCD, which the earliest model when first digital camera invented. I tested it out with a few shots in the house and the quality of the picture and functional setting are simply impressive. I find it is good enough to take photo at 8.1 megapixel with this latest technology and most of all value for money. I'm not keen on buying compact digital camera at very expensive price, some of them costs thousands above. Then I rather get a DSLR instead of compact camera. I choose this camera for only one reason, as it uses LEICA lens! As many as you know that LEICA from Germany is famous of its top lenses and favourite brand for those professional photographers besides other brand like Canon, Nikon, Sony and so on. My favourite brand goes to Canon and Nikon if I have a chance to upgrade to DSLR camera...that is my wish!

Growing in Christ together

"I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you" (John 13:15 TEV).

Any successful marriage is built upon the biblical truth that God designed each of us with five purposes in mind: worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and missions.

You and your spouse were both created to become like Christ. God uses your spouse to build his values, attitudes, morals, and character within you. God uses your spouse, and your relationship with each other, to form you into an image of Jesus.

Once you understand this, a lot of what happens within your marriage will begin to make more sense. When you start to ask, "Why is this happening to me?" The answer is—to make you more like Jesus!

If God's purpose for each of our lives is to make us look more like Jesus, what better tool could he use than the marriage relationship? Who better for God to use to chisel you than the person you live with seven days a week? God is using each of you to shape the other person more and more into the image of Jesus.

God's work within your marriage is designed to produce "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control" within you and your spouse (Galatians 5:22-23 TEV).

Counting the days...

Counting the day towards the end of my day in present company will begin a new chapter in my career. I have put all my faith in God whom I trust that He will lead and guide me through the way...
I think many of us like me is a common thing to practice in this working society in order to progress ourselves to another level which could enlarge us the opportunity to a better place and of course a better pay!
I have been working with the company for 4 years and have made my decision to leave is simply not easy way. I find it is no longer suitable for me to stay on as I need a changes. Hope to see myself on this new chapter will lead me to one step further for a better one.

Living within your Income

When you spend more than you earn, you end up in tremendous stress. The Bible says, "Stupid people spend their money as fast as they get it" (Proverbs 21:20 TEV).

What motivates us to live beyond our means? Why do we spend ourselves into debt? Why are we rarely satisfied with what we have?

There are three myths that drive us into debt:

MYTH: Having more things will make me happier.

FACT: "Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!...So what good is wealth—except perhaps to watch it slip through your fingers!" (Ecclesiastes 5:10-11 NLT)

MYTH: Having more things will make me more important.

FACT: "Watch out and guard yourselves from every kind of greed; because your true life is not made up of the things you own, no matter how rich you may be" (Luke 12:15 TEV).

MYTH: Having more things will make me more secure.

FACT: "The Lord is like a strong tower, where the righteous can go and be safe. Rich people, however, imagine that their wealth protects them like high, strong walls around a city" (Proverbs 18:10-11 TEV).

When we buy into these myths, we always overspend. So, here's how to enjoy life more on less:

• Find happiness in helping others. Jesus said, "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving" (Acts 20:35 TEV). Just look around you and you'll see this is true. The happiest people are those who help the most, not those who have the most. Misers are always miserable.

• Find self-worth by getting to know God. God says, "...you are precious to me..." (Isaiah 43:4 TEV). You matter to God. He made you for a purpose. Genuine self-esteem comes from establishing a relationship with God and becoming all he meant for you to be.

• Find security in trusting God, not a bank balance. The Bible says, "Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, 'I will never leave you; I will never abandon you'" (Hebrews 13:5 TEV). Real security must be found in something that can never be taken from you. While there are many ways to lose your possessions, Jesus said God will take care of you if you trust Him.

Thank you Lord Father...

Recently my bother in law, Jerry who had heart attack successfully undergone for his arteries blockage operation, which doctor confirmed 3 arteries have been blocked. He is now resting at home under medication with his daughter.
We pray everyday to ask God's healing and salvation to restore his health. Halleluia! God has indeed answered our prayer when we received a call from him that the operation had doing very well. We want to praise and thank God for his mighty healing and restoration for Jerry although he is non-believer yet, but we believe in faith he will come to know Lord Jesus one day. God is faithful and He is the one our hope who provides us every needs whenever we face difficulty times in our daily life.
My mom too was once saved by God in many years back. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma cancer and that time I was just a teenage boy. Before then I already accepted Lord Jesus in 1994 without her knowledge. She had gone a hard time of struggling during the chemotherapy treatment and I prayed endlessly without fail asking God's healing for my mom and cry to seek his help. I still remember all and never will forget. How God is so good to me when I need him most.

Celebrate Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's day in a economical cozy steak restaurant near Kampung Pandan roundabout. As every year goes by, my mother is getting older and older, yet she is still strong, healthy and energetic no doubt she is now 63. I still remember those days especially in my school days when I was just a small kid how mom sent me to school every morning by bicycle (that bicycle named Chopper). That bicycle was simply unique as the wheels had different sizes with tall steering handle just like a Harley bike. One big at the rear and small at the front. I remembered everytime I was sitting in front patiently, holding the handle while mother cycled with all her fullest energy. Although she looked tired and exhausted when I saw her face, but she never complain or reveal it.
She had brought us up four brothers including me with her unconditioned love and care with a living just enough for the day during the time.
The other 2 bothers are in Johor now and have their own living. Most of the time like this kind of occasion they are not with us, only they will come back when it comes to Chinese New Year reunion dinner.

Thank you mom! and Happy Mother's day...
You always the best mother in my life

No Arms, No Legs!

When I look again at these pictures after earlier posted about the little girl with only 1 arm, now this man has no arms and legs at all! You may wonder why I posted all these pictures after one another. I personally feel and wanted to share with all the readers here for those stopping by that it is important to remember how God has blessed and gave us a complete and perfect physical body and we should be thankful for what we have now. This people yet have the strong spirit and faith to live on. They never give up their life. Just imagine putting ourselves in their shoes, and how would it be like.

My name is Nick Vujicic and I give God the Glory for how He has used my testimony to touch thousands of hearts around the world! I was born without limbs and doctors have no medical explanation for this birth 'defect'. As you can imagine, I was faced with many challenges and obstacles.
'And we know that in all things God works for the best for those who love Him.' That verse spoke to my heart and convicted me to the point where that I know that there is no such thing as luck, chance or coincidence that these 'bad' things happen in our life.

I now see that Glory revealed as He is using me just the way I am and in ways others can't be used.
I am now twenty-three years old and have completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Financial Planning and Accounting. I am also a motivational speaker and love to go out and share my story and testimony wherever opportunities become available. I have developed talks to relate to and encourage students through topics that challenge today's teenagers. I am also a speaker in the corporate sector.
I have a passion for reaching out to youth and keep myself available for whatever God wants me to do, and wherever He leads, I follow.
I have many dreams and goals that I have set to achieve in my life. I want to become the best witness I can be of God's Love and Hope , to become an international inspirational speaker and be used as a vessel in both Christian and non-Christian venues. I want to become financially independent by the age of 25, through real estate investments, to modify a car for me to drive and to be interviewed and share my story on the ' Oprah Winfrey Show '! Writing several best-selling books has been one of my dreams and I hope to finish writing my first by the end of the year. It will be called 'No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!'

Be contended what we have...

Skybridge of Twin Tower

On labour day, we went over to Suria KLCC after putting a night in mom's place, a sudden thought of going for just a window shopping since the last some time ago. Eventually, I managed to get free parking opposite of KLCC which was safe and save me lots from paying parking charge...hehe. Though it needs some distance walk across the street and pass through Mandarin Oriental Hotel only get to the other entrance of Suria KLCC. It was really crowded with many people from locals, foreigners and tourists, perhaps plus with public holiday. I can't deny that KLCC is the most favourite destination of shopping throughout all time. My wife wanted to get a briefcase and myself looking a long sleeve shirt. Sigh...at the end, we couldn't buy anything...just a little electric shaver for myself. Before we were about to go off, I told my wife why not we just check it out to see whether can visit the Twin Tower Skybridge at this hour, 5pm. Sadly, we were told that the passes for the day had all finished and advised us to come early in the morning for next time. Oh no...
The free passes are limited for 1700 people per day, at first-come first-basis. Then what else can we do?

With disappointed feeling, we then walked to the Exhibition hall to see all information displayed about how the Twin Tower was built in those days. This 88-floor towers were designed by Argentine-American architect and completed in 1998. While we were watching a documentary video, one staff came to tell us that we can go up to the Skybridge. Huh! I can't believe that...maybe they gave us a chance. I just thought if we have had not been here, we may not having this chance. Thank God!

Then we were given a yellow tag, a 3D glass and proceed to the Cinema room with the rest of the visitors for few minutes show about the Twin Tower structures and development. I really don't get it why they used this method by wearing the 3D glass which made us a little bit dizzy and blurry images. But when without wearing it, there was double images...
After the show, we were called out followed by the colours of tags and queued in the line to get into the High Speed Elevator.
This elevator is not an ordinary elevator, there are so many buttons and LED which indicate each floors. It took us 41 sec to reach to the level 41 which it is the Skybridge's floor. It was really pretty fast and meant that only 1 sec for each level! (OMG...)
The moment we stepped into the bridge lobby, I quickly took out my camera cellphone to snap here and there coz limited time only given.
It was really good experience and worthy to visit. I am really proud of this mega structure and truly Malaysia!

Fellowship dinner in Vietnam Kitchen

Delicious and tasty! All I can say it for very first time dining in Vietnam cuisine restaurant...The cooking style is likely similar to our chinese cooking. I like the fried squids and prawns, which I love the most especially when comes to "fried stuffs"...(cannot eat too much actually). All dishes served were just great and thanks to Bro. Keith who ordered the foods. He bought all of us this dinner. Well, I definitely will go back to this restaurant next time to try others dishes...
Below photo was taken using my cellphone, so the image quite blurry.

P/s: This Vietnam Kitchen is located in USJ, next to CIMB and OCBC and opposite of Taipan.
